This past weekend was a lot of fun. Ryan, one of Andrew's friends from his mission, came to visit as well as my friend Sonja from Las Vegas. We had a lot of fun together hanging out at home and seeing some of the sights. Thanks for the Five Guys Ryan! We're looking forward to seeing you again.

This is my dear friend Sonja. I was lucky enough to teach her mother Frances on my mission. She joined the church and then later Sonja joined. Frances passed away shortly after but I have stayed in touch with Sonja and her wonderful sister Rosalind ever since. Our friendship has grown through cards and emails so it was really nice to be able to actually see each other and spend time together. We had a wonderful time. The kids absolutely adored her!

Here we are at the Air and Space Museum. This jet actually flies so fast that it lengthens 6 feet at top speed.

Sonja treated me and the kids to a night out a Chucky Cheese. We had never been. It was really a lot of fun. The kids had a blast as you can see from the pictures. Here Fox and Eden and shooting water guns together. They laughed so hard together! Now everyday Eden asks me if when we are going back there. I think Sonja left us enough coins to go back several times. Thanks for a fun night Sonja!

Fox is generally not very friendly with strangers. Or even people who aren't strangers. Really, he doesn't want anyone who is not me, Andrew, Eden, or Bela even looking at him so I was a little surpised when he fell in love with Sonja. He wanted her to hold him and he didn't cry when I left him with her. The kids both really enjoyed having her company. We miss you!
