Happy Halloween everyone! Sorry that we're a little late in getting these pictures out. Eden absolutely LOVED Halloween night. Andrew had prepared her for days on how to say Trick or Treat and what to expect. She said Trick or Treat at every door- it was so cute. She just walked right up to the door and didn't seem to mind if we stood behind. She was so brave! She always picked out the smarties or tootsie rolls, so the neighboors would throw in a handful of the good stuff while she wasn't looking (which mom and dad are grateful for). After only a few houses she said that her pumpkin was getting too heavy and we started carrying it.There were a couple of people who dressed up in scary costumes for handing out candy. Eden never cried, but when we left those houses she would say, "That scared me." Once we walked up to a house with an older man handing out candy. "Grandpa?" she said. It was really cute. By the end of the night, as you can see, she scored a pumpkin full of candy. It has been a source of potty treats and bribes for a solid week now. Eden is officially potty trained so I can't say that it hasn't been effective. We all had a really great time that night. Fox was a little bumble bee and he slept through the entire thing. Andrew and I had big smiles on our faces the whole night. Somehow, I feel like a real parent now. Is that weird?
