Busy Month

So much has been going on here since Fox was born. Here's a rundown of our past three weeks:

FOX COMES HOMEHe sleeps a lot.

He prefers to be naked and in Mom's arms.

Eden also prefers to be naked and she's happy so long as Mom and Dad still pay attention to her.

Long fingers!

Fox's comfort position--hands in the neck; Eden did the same thing.

Future guitarist, naturally.

Stones fan from birth, naturally.

Eden loves to hold Fox...

and to read him books (several at once, apparently).

MANDY'S FAMILY VISITED

David and Pam are once again proud grandparents with their sixth grandchild (second grandson).

Grandma Pam with Fox and his cousin, Annabeth.


Eden also got plenty of attention from Grandma.

But she was happiest when Grandma read to her AND Fox.

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY FROM EDEN AND FOX!!!

Eden celebrated by wearing patriotic colors (courtesey of her great-grandparents), kissing Fox, and playing with her first fireworks.


GRANDMA BURTON VISITS!

Eden gets her other grandma to read Green Eggs and Ham, too.

Fox stares at Grandma Burton...

...and keeps staring.

Grandma says goodbye to Eden and her new grandson, the first to carry on the Burton name. No worries, she'll be back in a week with more family.


JULY 11, 2008: EDEN TURNS 2!!!

We celebrated with a party in her elphant pool with her best friend, Julia.

And a purple elephant cake (Mandy and Grandma Burton worked hard to make a cake with her favorite animal and color)...and she loved it.











Julia helped Eden open her presents.
