On June 20, 2008, our son was born. We named him Fox. He was 7 pounds and 14 ounces and 20 inches long. He is healthy and happy..JPG)
Everyone says he looks more like a Thompson than a Burton. Our friends in Bloomington say he looks like Mandy. Our family says he looks like Mandy's dad--even Mandy's grandfather says he looks just like David did when he was a baby.
Mandy is recovering well from the delivery. She is a proud mother again.
Eden is excited to be a big sister. We were nervous about how she would react to this new arrival. Aside from being a bit stand-offish when our friend Eva first brought her to the hospital, she has been wonderful with her new brother.
She and Eva brought cupcakes to celebrate Fox's birth--Eden enjoyed feeding them to Mom and Dad and tried to share with Fox as well.
She talks about him constantly and always wants to hold him, touch him, and read books to him.
While Mandy and I were busy in hospital, Eden had fun at the Witesmans. They took some gorgeous pictures of her playing with Julia...
...swinging...
...taking piano lessons...
...talking on the phone...
...and baking the cupcakes for Fox.

OK, I still think he looks like Dad! He is so cute! Can't wait for y'all come back out to Las Vegas again! What a beautiful family!
