Golumbac

About a month ago now we went to see a fortress just a couple of hours away in the town of Golumbac. The sky threatened rain the entire day so the clouds dampened the pictures a bit. But, it was a really stunning sight to see the fortress right up to the edge of the water and there were a few fun areas we could explore with the kids. What a pretty girl this is!

After Golumbac we headed to another nearby village where they have discovered some ancient runes right along the river.
