Art Show and a trip to Novi Sad

Last week Eden had an art show at her school. Her class had been learning about art and expression, part of which is creating of their own artwork (as evidenced by the increase in the number of Eden's shirts that have now been deemed "art shirts" because they are too stained to have any other use). They made a trip to the National Art Gallery here. Later they went downtown to look at some of the street art and even made some of their own with sidewalk chalk. This art show was the capstone for the unit. Both grade 2 classes set up an art museum in their adjoining rooms, with children posted at each section to explain their classmates' work. They were so proud of their masterpieces. Eden helped paint the yellow building in one of these pictures. Can you find the clue in her picture that lets you know she worked on it? Over the weekend we explored the fortress in the nearby city of Novi Sad. It was nice, not very busy, and it made for some really pretty pictures.
