Christmas 2011

We spent Christmas in Louisiana with all of our family. Before that, though, we took advantage of all DC has to offer during the holidays. We were lazy with taking pictures, but did get this one of the Christmas tree in front of the Capitol and a full moon. The drive took 20 hours, but it was worth it to spend the holiday with our family. We had lots of fun riding bikes and four wheelers, eating deer steaks, sushi, and Christmas cookies, and enjoying the humidity.
I got a new camera for Christmas and spent a few days testing it out at Andrew's parents' house (I realize now that I didn't get any pics with my family since I only had our old crappy camera. So- send me pictures if you have them guys!).

Eden and Fox have been in heaven playing with their new toys ever since. These pictures highlight a few of their favorites. Fox got an enormous airplane from Santa, a cool race track from Grandma and Papa Thompson, and some blocks from us. Grandpa Burton made Eden a fairy village, he and Grandma gave her a volcano, and we gave her a porcelain tea set.
