POTTYTRAINING!!!

Well, it's been about 48 hours since we started pottytraining. So far, I'd say we've had as many accidents as successes but I suppose that's normal at this point. Of those accidents, most have been in her pull-up, but a couple were on the carpet, one in the lovesack, one in her purple Dora chair, two on the kitchen floor and one on top of the dining room table (don't ask). It's really cute to see Eden get excited about using the potty though. First, her baby will use the potty and then we clap and she hugs her baby. Then Eden uses the potty (well, that's the idea at least). She picked out two packs of little panties yesterday- My Little Pony and Tinkerbell. After a few hours they were all in the wash. But it's so cute to see her tiny little booty in panties! Some people do this pottytraining thing in a day, but I think we're in it for the longhaul. At least we're saving a few diapers now right? WRONG! I never realized that this kid urinates like 5 times an hour. Okay, okay so I am giving her lots to drink to get in lots of practice, but sheesh! She's doing really great with it though and we're really proud of her. Who knows? Maybe by the time her little brother gets here, we'll only have one in diapers (well, almost=).
